YOU DID IT.
You had the best time of your life in the desert with incredible people you will never forget.
Now that it’s Monday, hopefully you were smart enough to take it off! Because Monday is travel day and rest day (hopefully). If you’re a boss you have Tuesday off too, but that’s unrealistic luxury.
The Festival ends Sunday night… you get one last sleep… The key is to pack while you’re getting ready for the last day.
Your P.J’s are out and outfit for your travel day back(Monday) is out and everything else is PACKED!!! So in the morning you load your car and thats it!
NO one has the energy to pack on Monday, you’ll be too depressed! Think about future you here.
Ok… so…you’re going to be DEPRESSED!!!
Hopefully you have someone to share this depression with. Try your best not to watch videos and photos of the weekend, rather spend all your time sleeping and eating healthy.
It’s really important that you eat healthy these next couple of days because you just came from three days in the hot desert sun partying until the crack of dawn. We would suggest lots of green smoothies and juices. Look on groupon for any deals! This will be your easiest option!
#1) ORDER GREEN JUICE or SMOOTHIES or SALADS or SOUPS
- You don’t have to cook
- You don’t have to buy ingredients to cook
- No cleaning up necessary
- You don’t even have to chew you can just drink in bed and sleep!
#2) Take a bath with Epsom Salt!
Even if you’re not a bath person you will enjoy this tip. If you want to get REAL crazy add some coconut oil to your bath, it will make your skin so soft!
Epsom salt is a natural exfoliant and anti-inflammation remedy that can be used to treat dry skin, sore muscles, small wounds and even to fight illness.
Don’t stay up for hours on end binge watching House of Cards! THIS IS NOT THE TIME. This is your time to finally sleep in your own bed and get rest after a long weekend. You want to be comfortable, you want to sleep, you want to not be AWAKE!
#4) Talk to your friends
All your friends are going through the same thing. Call them! Talk to them! Express yourself and how you feel!!
–The memories you’ve created over the weekend will last a life time + you’ll have next year to go again!
Transiting back into school or work might be a little challenging but after lots of rest + nutrition..you’ll be back in the game in no time!!!
